Healthy Seminars 5th Integrative Fertility Symposium will be again in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The IFSymposium is geared toward Chinese medicine and naturopathic physicians who have an interest in treating reproductive health issues using an integrative approach.  The 2019 ABORM exam wil be held in conjuction with the 2019 IFS.  The 2019 ABORM exam is in Vancouver British Columbia Canada on April 25, 2019

Location

Integrated Fertility Symposium 2017. Both the Symposium and the Pre-Symposium lectures will be held at The Simon Fraser University at Harbour Centre located across the street from the Marriott Delta Suites Hotel on the downtown Simon Fraser University campus in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Easily accessible from anywhere in the Lower Mainland, The Harbour Centre is centrally located within steps of the downtown’s main transit hub.

Directions

Vancouver's YVR (Vancouver International Airport) is the nearest airport to the SFU Harbour Centre (SFU Downtown Campus), where the Integrative Fertility Symposium will be held. We recommend this as your landing destination if you plan to fly to Vancouver. Below we have included information regarding both the airport itself and convenient methods of transportation to and from the airport.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is located on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, about 12 km (7.5 mi) from Downtown Vancouver. Vancouver International Airport is second busiest airport in Canada with roughly 17.6 million passing through each year.

Vancouver International Airport is easily accessible to Greater Vancouver by public transportation, shuttle, taxi and car.

Rapid Transit

- Take train all the way to Waterfront Station which is the last stop.

The Canada Line is Vancouver’s rapid transit rail link connecting YVR to downtown Vancouver in 26 minutes. You can conveniently access trains from both the International and Domestic Terminals. Canada Line’s YVR-Airport station is centrally located between our International and Domestic Terminals. As you exit the train, turn left for domestic flights or right for U.S. and international flights. The nearest SkyTrain station for SFU's Vancouver campus is Waterfront Station, which is a brief walk to the SFU Harbor Centre, where the Integrative Fertility Symposium is being held.

Waterfront Station is also served daily by SeaBus from North Vancouver. The West Coast Express commuter train travels to downtown Vancouver from Mission, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam Central and Port Moody during peak hours, Monday through Friday. Arrival from within Canada

If you’re picking up checked bags, you are at Arrivals, level 2 of the Domestic Terminal. Go to Level 3, and walk toward the Link Building (located in between the International and Domestic Terminal). Follow the signs marked Canada Line.

Arrival from International Destination

Once through the customs and immigration arrivals process, walk toward the exit to the International Arrivals Greeting Area. Exit the building following signs marked Canada Line. Before the parkade entrance, an escalator and elevator will take you up to the Canada Line platform. 

Taxis

Taxis, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, are available at taxi stands located on Level 2 of the Domestic and International Arrivals Area. All taxis who pick up passengers from the airport are fully licensed and all drivers must complete a training course in safe driving, customer service and helping people with special needs.

Vancouver now has a fixed airport to Vancouver city proper fee depending on the zone. The fixed fee from Vancouver International Airport to the Integrative Fertility Symposium or Delta Suites Hotel is $35 CAD. View more about the fixed fee online.

Downtown Shuttle

Aeroshuttle provides exclusive shuttle service from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to downtown hotels. No reservation is required for service from YVR.

If you are staying with Delta Suites Hotel in Vancouver, the airport shuttle service runs automatically every 20 minutes from the hour.

Please make sure you are at the correct shuttle before boarding.

International Arrivals

After you retrieve your luggage and exit the luggage pick up area, follow the signage to the Courtesy Shuttle pickup. This area is located outside the sliding doors and across the street to the right under the green canopy.

Domestic Arrivals

After you retrieve your luggage and exit the luggage pick up area, follow the signage to the Courtesy Shuttle pickup. This area is located at the base of the escalator and out the sliding doors to the left.
