This talk is based on the teachings of the late Dr Yitian Ni whom I was fortunate to study with. The diagnosis and treatment of menopause in TCM is very basic and most commonly mistaken for a Kidney deficiency. In this talk we will discuss in depth the etiology of menopause and introduce five phenotypes based on the five elements, fire, earth, metal, water and wood.

Detailed symptoms and treatment with acupuncture, herbs and nutrition will be taught.
