Putting it Together: Advanced Fertility Cases from a Naturopathic Perspective

In this 60-minute interactive presentation, we will approach advanced naturopathic fertility methods through 5 difficult cases of infertility.  Walk through & participate in 5 cases with different diagnoses & root causes for infertility, including sperm abnormality, poor ovarian reserve, menstrual irregularity, environmental toxicity, autoimmune infertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss. The format of this presentation will include listening to a case presentation and supportive background information followed by guided small and large group discussion around lab interpretation, diagnosis, and building of a comprehensive treatment plan. A web-based game platform (Kahoot) will allow participants to weigh in & share their interpretation in live time. Guaranteed to enhance your comfort with working REAL cases & also to be fun!


Learning Objectives

At the end of the presentation, attendees will:

1. Feel comfortable with determining what labs to run based upon case presentation, and also how to interpret labs to determine the diagnosis for male & female infertility

2. Develop resources for efficiently working with patients in practice, including lab interpretation guides, treatment plan templates and more
3. Feel confident that they can proceed a difficult fertility case to determine and address root cause of infertility

Jaclyn Chasse-Smeaton, ND

Dr. Jaclyn Chasse-Smeaton is a licensed naturopathic physician dedicated to helping couples conceive naturally.  Her practice, Perfect Fertility, is dedicated to fertility, sexual health and family wellness.  

Dr. Chasse-Smeaton is a graduate of Bastyr University, an avid writer, and international speaker who has taught thousands of doctors the Perfect Fertility methods.  She is Immediate Past President of the both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the NH Association of Naturopathic Doctors.  She's served on several boards including the American Herbal Products Association and many others.  

In addition to doctor, Dr. Chasse-Smeaton's proudest role is of Mother, to a bustling houseful of children and slobbering dogs.  They enjoy any family time that includes cuddles, laughter, cooking, gardening, and travel!
