This talk will provide an understanding of the key concepts surrounding ovulatory dysfunction including conditions such as hypothalamic amenorrhea (including stress), PCOS, adrenal androgen excesses (Non classical CAH), LUFS, hyperprolactinemia and thyroid dysfunction. A thorough understanding of the hypothalamic pituitary ovary axis will be provided including new concepts in neuro-endocrinology. Clinical nutrition and functional medicine treatments of these common disorders will also be discussed, and clinical pearls provided to assist clinicians in the regulation of the ovarian cycle.
