Description
More and more women are approaching perimenopause and menopause at an earlier age. The hormone imbalances and physical and emotional changes resulting from this unexpected development often take women by surprise. As a result, when they experience hot flashes/night sweats, weight gain, insomnia, mood swings, and even rash personality shifts, they lose their ability to function normally in daily life. Most importantly, these women often feel helpless and are unaware of a medication-free way to feel better. This seminar will introduce participants to an effective approach to balancing hormones, resolving patient symptoms, and getting patients back to feeling like themselves via Balance Method acupuncture.
Learning Objectives
- Introduce participants to the need for understanding how to recognize the symptoms of and treat perimenopause

- Provide insight on the use of supportive Chinese herbal medicine and nutritional approaches to get patients back on track as soon as possible
- Demonstrate needling techniques and channels to treat women’s hormone-based concerns
