Description

‘The Fizz’ is Jani’s shorthand for describing the intricate and infinitely dimensional communication systems of the body, of which the Endocrine system is the conductor of the Orchestra. In this course will take a turn from the global theories of how acupuncture affects endocrine function - the overall sound that happens when each instrument is playing in harmony - and we will primarily focus on the specific acupoints -the individual strings, horns, reeds, percussions - that need to be individually attuned in order to blend with the whole. Taking a breakdown from top to bottom, Jani will guide us through a look at the specific points in the region of each endocrine gland - Hypothalamus/Pituitary, Pineal, Thyroid/Parathyroid, Thymus, Pancreas, Adrenals, Ovaries & Testes, and we will discuss these points in detail in the context of their relevance to improving the function within each gland itself. An orchestra can only produce seamless music when a flow exists between all players, and so to this end we will add a discussion of the importance of the Solar Plexus, and the local points that are so influential for releasing the tensions that often shelve within this nerve network. Our sympathetic response is easily activated, a function that is designed to be a primary protector of the heart. Acupuncture can be one of the most effective means to switch the sympathetic down and turn on the parasympathetic - essential for the flow that begets the music. Like the Organ associations of Chinese medicine, the endocrine system also has a complex of emotional strengths and weaknesses that relate to each gland. Drawing from the yogic, ayurvedic and Buddhist traditions, Jani brings together her research into these endocrine associations together with in-depth discussion of the key points that we may use to help to improve the hormonal function within our patients. Looking closely at the resonances of Chinese acupoints, in their ability to connect and resolve emotional as well as physical dysfunctions, we can improve the function within the endocrine glands themselves. This is a dynamic tool to helping to calm and connect the heart-mind balance that is so essential to the sequencing of our endocrine function. Though this course will hugely benefit your fertility patients, the wisdoms inherent in the points we will be discussing will be of immense benefit to all your patients, whatever their condition and issues may be. Come to this course and learn to wield the baton that can help you to guide your patient’s body-heart-mind into a symphony of free flowing function that would be the envy of Mozart and Beethoven.
