The presentation will discuss theories of endometriosis from a Western Medicine perspective, including diagnosis and treatment. Participants will learn how to treat the patient post laparoscopy with acupuncture and herbs to help facilitate conception. Further, you will understand how to treat endometriosis to ameliorate pain with traditional Chinese medicine.

Course Objectives:
1. To gain an understanding as to what endometriosis is
2. To understand the signs and symptoms of endometriosis
3. To understand how endometriosis affects fecundity even in the absence of adhesed salpinges
4. To gain an understanding of the TCM pattern differentiation and treatment principle
5. Learn acupuncture and herbal medicine protocols

Mike Berkley L.Ac, FABORM

Mike Berkley, Founder and Director of The The Berkley Center for Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in New York City, is licensed and Board Certified in Acupuncture in New York State. Mike is also certified in Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Mike graduated from The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York in 1996, and he has been treating reproductive disorders since then. Mike is the first acupuncturist/herbalist in the United States to work exclusively in the field of reproductive medicine 

He works exclusively in the area of reproductive medicine and enjoys working in conjunction with some of New York’s most prestigious reproductive endocrinologists.
