Marlene Merritt, DOM, LAc, MS Nutrition

Dr. Marlene Merritt received her Masters degree in Oriental Medicine in 2000 and is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She has an additional Masters's degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Bridgeport which allows her to be nationally recognized as a Certified Nutrition Specialist, the basis for nutritionist licensure in over 20 states. She is licensed by the New Mexico Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine. Additionally, she is an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner, is trained as a specialist in the Keto diet by the American Nutrition Association, and is certified in the Bredesen Protocol™ for Cognitive Decline. As of 2019, she is a Proficiency Diplomate in the Shoemaker CIRS Protocol for the treatment of mold-related illness.
